I’ve become very drawn to glass recently, replacing one of my favorite kitchen trays with a borosilicate glass one, among other things. I also really enjoy glass mugs. Part of it has to do with the fact that I’m a tea fiend and I love to see the tea through the mug. It just adds so much to the sensory experience. Luminarc, a brand known for its high-quality products, has a nicely designed mug at 13 fl oz, and if you want a larger mug, I found a sturdy good-looking one in borosilicate glass that holds 16 oz. This second one is double-walled insulated, which means that you can make an oven-baked lava cake in it if you want to! And it has a bamboo lid, if you want your tea to stay warm longer.

And here’s a borosilicate glass teapot (with a clear infuser for loose tea) and tea kettle, one that you can on the open flame of a glass stove or on an electric ceramic heater — would make for a great Christmas gift for tea lovers!
And if you’re hosting a party, there’s a way to make it extra special and elegant with a set of twelve tall glass cups with bamboo lids and straws. Great for fruit punch, mojito, certain smoothies, orange juice, and so much more!
