A long time ago a very modern friend of mine here in Romania had ex libris book stamps (“This book belongs to”) for her personal library. She used libraries a lot, but she also had bought some favorites, which she then stamped with her name.
I think a name is not enough. I want a cute, artistic image to go with it. This works well not only for more artsy adults but also for kids.
I have created a good number of personalized stamps for children and adults, and wrote about it before here. They include stamps with cute cats, including a Kawaii cute kitten, a cat with a scarf, and an elegant cat seen in silhouette, as well as unicorns, owls, penguins, and a tiger.
Here I’ll be showing new designs with cat images, for cat lovers, artistic types, and other cool cats out there.

Here’s the same image with different fonts. When it comes to spelling one’s name in elegant cursive handwriting, people have, of course, different preferences. And the all caps font for “This book belongs to” invites different fonts as well. The above choice works for both kids and adults, I think, while the option below—and the cursive font for the name—is better for older kids and adults.
I also redid the handwriting font on the kawaii cat book stamp below, to match more the writing of a little kid.

For older, nerdy cats, I’ve freshened up this design with a cat wearing a baseball hat backwards.

I also have a cool, poised funny cat for those of you who would like a more humorous ex libris book stamp.

Finally, I changed the cursive font on a design with an elegant cat, seen here in silhouette, whiskers and curled tail adding to the artistic effect.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post. As always, pins and shares are much appreciated! Thank you!
To a happier, healthier life,
