Sometimes we think of someone far away, and a postcard helps a lot. I know, because I sent many postcards to a dear friend once upon a time. It’s a beautiful way to say “I’m thinking of you” or “I miss you” to a friend or a lover in a long-distance relationship, much as cute GIFs on WhatsApp also help 😊

I also remember a time when I sent postcards from my travels. Of course, times have changed. There’s WhatsApp again and the possibility of taking gorgeous photos with our phones, which makes the beautiful photos on postcards a little redundant.

But there are other types of postcards to send if you wish to let a good friend or a lover know that you’re thinking of them. I revel in creating these postcards, trying to make them both fun and sweet.

Postcards are special, and so are greeting cards, should you want to add more words than half a postcard.

Some postcards people buy for themselves, much as I do when I visit certain art museums. You buy the postcard as a memento or because you really like the art on it.
