and other teacher appreciation gift ideas, see below in this post
It’s graduation season and someone bought one of my teacher mugs recently, so I set about to make new teacher appreciation mugs! I used one photo in all of them along with various cute illustrations: an apple, books, and flowers, along with a chemistry lab beaker and a bar graph for sciences/science and technology/STEM teachers.
I have tried to make separate mugs for various disciplines, such as composition, art, or sciences, but note that you can personalize the text in these specific mugs to suit your needs, so if it’s not a mug for a composition teacher you need, you could change the text to Best English Teacher, Best Writing Teacher, or whatever else your kid’s class is called (provided that the text is not too long).
I could have made my mug with more than one photo but I wanted room on it for something cute and artsy as well, and as I like flowers with a gradient between two tones, I decided to do flowers with two shades of a color combined (gradients are not trendy anymore, and the look is cleaner this way, which is how I prefer it).
So I superposed two daisy illustrations to create those original purple flowers. But then I realized that some parents may prefer not to give flower mugs to male teachers, so I created versions with stacks of books as well.
Note that all these mugs include a personalized name (of course!).
And I’ve also made mugs for virtual teachers, with Best Virtual Teacher Ever. Make sure to include a photo of your kid learning something through Zoom or another video conferencing platform.
Enjoy!

Here’s The Best Art Teacher Ever mug. If you like this design with flowers, you can personalize the text for other disciplines as well, including English, composition, and writing. (The text stretches to allow for more letters.) Note that if you want a mug for a science teacher, I have a more suited design at the end of this post.

And here’s a version of the above teacher mug with books. Note that you can add an exclamation mark after Best Teacher Ever if you wish.

Here’s a design for a virtual teacher, which you can personalize for any kind of teacher you want, as the template text is long enough to allow for many options: art teacher, sciences or STEM teacher, English, writing, or composition teacher or instructor—anything you need provided the specific name is not longer than SCIENCES plus two more letters (10 letters in total). Chemistry works, for instance, as does physics, or, obviously, math(s). But for the Sciences I made a special design, with a chemistry lab beaker and a bar graph. See it below, after the two Best Virtual Teacher mugs.

Okay, enough about my mugs! Maybe you don’t want to buy a personalized teacher photo mug, after all. If so, here are two teacher appreciation gifts from Amazon: a mug with Best Teacher Ever with a golden queen crown and spoon (the crown is detachable) and a puzzle-shaped piece with the text “Thank you for being such an important piece of my story.” Regarding the latter, there are many designs on Amazon with this message. Here’s one of them, personalized with the teacher’s name. It’s a little on the staid side but it allows you to include the kid’s name and personalize the message as well and you can pick one of the two colors shown below. The only inconvenient is that the text box is too small. It doesn’t even allow for “such an important” along with “part of my story.” But you could still write something nice, for instance “Thank you for being so kind to me!” And you could skip the “Thank you” bit and write something like: “To a loving, dedicated teacher” Or put in something like: “You mean a lot to me.”

I also mentioned the mug with the queen crown. Here it is.

And if you want to spend just a little bit more money, Brooke & Jess has lots of tote bags teachers would appreciate. These totes come in gray and black and other colors, with various text designs, including “Wake up. Teach kids. Be awesome,” “Teach. Love. Inspire,” “The influence of a good teacher can never be erased” (so true!), and other messages. You can access them (17 tote bags) from the image link below. Reviewers say they are sturdy and with great straps that are easy on the shoulder and long enough. Also, the canvas fabric is water-resistant, one reviewer says. These totes also come with lots of pockets, including lateral pockets and are overall perfect for carrying everything a teacher needs to bring to school.

Here’s another teacher tote from this Brooke & Jess series. This one is $29.95 at the time of this post.
Okay, enough for today 🙂 I hope you found something you liked 🙂
Pins and shares are much appreciated!
To a happier, healthier life,
