If you hung out around this website for a while, you probably learned that I love to cook. I also love dinner plates and have bought lots of dinnerware over the years, enough to fill a tall cupboard. I bought mismatched plates and bowls and sauce receptacles and soup bowls and mugs and ceramic ramekins, and more, in addition to a fancy set of dinnerware.
But my dinnerware set doesn’t have frills, and I want that now, which is why I started to pay more attention to restaurant plates when I eat out. But none of them has been as beautiful as this set from the Divitis Home Store. Here it is.

I’ve noticed fine bone china for its qualities for a while now, and this one comes with great stylish detail too. I also love that more of the plates’ margins is striped, because this way you do get to enjoy a fine dining experience while eating less. The plates are large enough but the design does encourage you to eat smaller portions. I much prefer this kind of design now to blue plates, for instance, which work psychologically to reduce the appetite. You can’t take great photos on blue plates, and you don’t get to enjoy the food this much either. So I’m all for this design, which I absolutely love.
Also, fine bone china is better than both porcelain and ceramic, more durable and chip-resistant than both. It’s also lightweight. And then it has an amazing glaze.

I also found some fine bone china pasta bowls. I personally like these with their margin trim better than simple bowls.
And for desserts, such as creme brulee (crème brûlée) but also ice cream confections, chocolates, and energy balls (they’re perfect for power balls!), various custards, yogurt with fruit, etc., I like these oven-safe flower-shaped porcelain ramekins. They are perfect for casual get-togethers with friends.

I really like these ramekins too and the fact that the pasta bowls are not very deep, but my heart today is with the dinnerware set.
Sometimes I’m having trouble thinking of gifts in this price range. Well, I think most people would be super happy with this dinnerware set.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post. If you found anything helpful, I’d appreciate a pin/share! Thank you!
To a happier, healthier life,
🙂 Mira
