Shower Curtains for Lovers of Butterflies and Coral Reefs

Now, I don’t know what your interest is in funky shower curtains, but I took a look at some of my older designs and figured they would appeal to people interested in nature and teaching their kids about nature. And that’s what my shower curtains do: they give you lots of focal points to consider while you’re . . . well . . . on the toilet! Or when you brush your teeth! We could all use brushing our teeth for longer, couldn’t we? You could look at various butterflies or all sorts of fish and animals from coral reefs. I figure it’s a winning proposition.

Here they are. Perfect for your old or new home and as housewarming gifts. Also as fun, unexpected yet beautiful and meaningful, inspiring Christmas gifts!

These shower curtains are 71″ x 71″, with vivid and durable printing. They fit most tubs, but if they don’t, you could always buy two of them. They’re made of polyester and you can wash them in your washing machine on cold.

The first shower curtain includes a collage with photos of organisms such as: nudibranch / sea slugs (order Nudibranchia), including Chromodoris nudibranch, parrotfish (family Scaridae), yellow tang fish (Zebrasoma flavescens), sea anemone (order Actiniaria), clownfish (order Perciformes), orange-lined and clown triggerfish (family Balistidae), lionfish / dragonfish / butterfly cod (Pterois), miniatus grouper / coral grouper / coral hind (Cephalopholis miniata), jewelled blenny (Salarias fasciatus), sergeant major fish (Abudefduf saxatilis), copperband and lemon butterflyfish (family Chaetodontidae), sea turtles (order Testudines), seahorse (Hippocampus), octopus, crab (infraorder Brachyura), starfish / sea star (class Asteroidea), and many varieties of coral (class Anthozoa).

The second shower curtain has colorful polka dots and photos of gorgeous butterflies, among them the Old World swallowtail (Papilio machaon), yellow, black, blue, and red; the monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus), orange and black; the black-and-blue blue tiger butterfly (Tirumala limniace), the buckeye butterfly (genus Junonia), brown with colorful round spots; and the fritillary butterfly, yellow with black spots.
