If your American father lives in a house rather than an apartment building, chances are he likes a good barbecue. I often wondered about barbecued ribs, for instance, as we don’t have them here. Instead, we grill pork collar, fish, beef tenderloin, and lots of vegetables: bell peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, and, not rarely, eggplant too. It’s healthier but it’s also more bland, even though that beef tenderloin (these days way more expensive than it used to be) is damn (forgive the word) tasty.
Father’s Day this June doesn’t have to be bland, which is why this year I’ll be posting funny Father’s Day gifts, starting with aprons! They’re bargain-priced and they offer some of the best fun out there for fathers, uncles, and grandfathers.

And another really good one: Best flippin’ Dad ever. Great gift for a great dad. This one includes a bottle opener and a gift box.
