NB November 10, 2023: I’ve done some new and improved designs of these cards, which I hope you’ll enjoy even better.
The original post (with new cards) follows with modifications.

A lot of people got themselves a dog in this pandemic. These funny Christmas photo cards are for them—and for the doggies who suffered a little under the training of a new family but ultimately found themselves happy to joke about their “ruff year” on the family Christmas cards. Here are some examples.

I’ll start with a design I got started on in the fall of 2021, where the funny dog says “Oh dear, ANOTHER ruff year!” for the second long stretch of this pandemic. Note that you can choose to keep (that is, personalize) or delete the letter on the back!
You can also change the text to something else, such as “Oh dear, what a YEAR!”

I also have this version on a golden background, also with snowflakes and stars. The year and years may have been hard, but the holiday season calls for positive vibes. This one, too has a customizable letter on the back, which you can keep or delete.

NB: I’ve also used this composition with three family photos and one of your pet dog’s to design new cards, with “pawsitive vibes.”

Now here’s one with two family photos and one of your dog, on both a white background (with snowflakes and stars) and a golden background (also with snowflakes and stars).

If you have more good photographs you want to share, here’s a version with 4+1 custom images.

and four more custom images. With a long letter on the back (affiliate image link)
If you like the design on the flat holiday card above but would rather buy a folded greeting card, here are two companion pieces.

If you could use a ruff year Christmas card that also has a moving announcement and a custom letter on the back that includes a dedicated space for your new address (and, on some versions, for a photo of your new home as well), please see this post: Funny Pet Dog Ruff Year We’ve Moved Christmas Photo Cards
I hope you’ve enjoyed this post.
To a happier, healthier life,
Mira
P.S. Pins and shares are much appreciated! 🙂
